Returns & Order Info
We know online shopping doesn’t always go perfectly—and we want to make returns and order updates as simple and fair as possible. Minimum Spend
We have a $20 AUD minimum order spend, which helps cover the essential costs of picking, packing and shipping via our warehouse partners. This allows us to offer the same high standard of service across all orders, while continuing to include small, fun add-ons you’ve come to love.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Our warehouse starts processing orders as soon as they’re placed, so we’re unable to make adjustments once your order is submitted. This includes:
- Address changes
- Order cancellations
- Adding promo codes after checkout
Please double-check your order details before confirming your purchase. If your order is returned to us due to an address issue, we’ll be in touch. A redelivery fee may apply, or we can offer a refund minus the original shipping cost.
Returns Eligibility
You can return your item for a refund (minus fees) or store credit if it meets all of the following:
- Your return is started within 7 days of delivery
- The item is unused, in original condition
- All packaging is included (e.g. dust bags, tags, protective wrap)
- The item was purchased at full price
The following cannot be returned:
- Items marked as sale or final sale
- Mystery bundles or discounted packs
- Earring holders and product care items (for hygiene reasons)
- Items that are worn, used, or missing packaging
All approved returns must be shipped back within 7 days of your return being approved.
How to Return an Item
- Head to our Returns Portal within 7 days of delivery to start your return.
- Choose a refund or store credit, depending on your item.
- Select your return method:
- Use our $15 prepaid return label – Available through the portal for convenience. It allows you to drop off your parcel at any Australia Post location or parcel locker—no need to organise shipping yourself.
- Organise your own tracked return, if you prefer.
Be sure to keep your lodgement receipt until your return is confirmed.
Store Credit
If you’d prefer store credit instead of a refund, you’ll receive the full value of your item once your return is approved—no processing fee is deducted.
Store credit will be emailed to you as a digital gift card and can be used at any time—it does not expire.
This option can be a great way to secure another item quickly without waiting for a refund to clear, especially during limited releases or restocks.
Refunds & Fees
If you'd prefer a refund, we’ve set things up to be as smooth and fair as possible:
- A $15 prepaid label (optional) can be purchased via the portal to make returning simple—no queues or extra postage steps.
- Once your return is received and approved, your refund will be processed, minus a $10 fee to help cover the fixed costs of fulfilment, payment fees and return processing.
We completely understand it can be frustrating not to receive the full amount back. Every order involves real costs at each step—and while we aim to make returns accessible, we also need to keep things sustainable.
If your order included a free gift, it must also be returned. If not, the gift’s value will be deducted from your refund.
Exchanges
While we’re not yet able to offer direct exchanges through the system, it’s easy to get what you need:
Place a new order for the size or style you’d prefer, and return the original item for a refund or store credit. This is the fastest way to ensure you don’t miss out on popular styles while your return is being processed.
Faulty Items & Warranty
We’re proud of the quality of our products and back them with a 12-month warranty from our manufacturing partners.
- If your item arrives faulty, contact us within 48 hours with photos and your order number.
- If a fault appears within 12 months of purchase, get in touch so we can assess and resolve the issue.
Please note, this warranty doesn’t cover standard wear and tear from use (e.g. scratches, marks).
Pre-Orders
We offer pre-orders for select items. Here’s how it works:
- Your full order will ship once all pre-order items are in stock
- If you need other items sooner, we recommend placing a separate order
- Express Post refers to shipping speed only—it doesn’t speed up dispatch
- Pre-orders cannot be changed or cancelled once placed
Combined Orders
Due to how our external warehouse operates, we’re unable to:
- Combine multiple orders placed separately
- Refund duplicate shipping costs
Incorrect Item Received
If you’ve received the wrong item, let us know with a clear photo and your order number. We’ll arrange a return label for you.
Please ensure the item is unused and in its original packaging to qualify for replacement. If it’s been used or opened, we won’t be able to accept it back.
Damaged or Missing Parcels
If your item was damaged in transit:
- Take it to your local Australia Post for assessment as soon as possible
- Send us images and tracking details so we can help where we can
If your parcel is missing, Australia Post will conduct an investigation. We’re happy to support you in resolving any delivery issues.
Colour Disclaimer
We aim to display product colours as accurately as possible. However, differences in screen settings, brightness and lighting may cause slight variations in how colours appear in person.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are valid for 3 years and can be used on any Bon Maxie item. They cannot be discounted during sales or promotions.
Product Care
To help your items last:
- Store them in a clean, dry space
- Avoid rough handling
- Only clean using suitable, gentle products
Damage caused by mishandling or improper care is not covered under warranty.
